The Gamma Gamma Chapter of Alpha Sigma Tau was founded at the University of West Alabama in 1987.  We are strong talented women who are well-liked and shine on UWA's campus.  People know who we are because we have taken the opportunity to be involved at this university. 

          Among AST you will have no problem finding someone who shares the same passions and interests as you.  Within our walls you will find artists, dancers, athletes, scholars, musicians, leaders, creators, dreamers ~ all united under an amazing bond of sisterhood.

          Not only are lifelong friendships kindled, but there is also a security in being part of a family.  If you want to be a part of a group full of genuine, sincere, and energetic women ready to welcome you in, then Alpha Sigma Tau is the place for you.
